AXPE and the Polytechnic University of Madrid have reached an agreement to carry out an advisory plan on the use of artificial intelligence technology perspectives.
The objetive of this collaboration is to analyze and discuss current problems demanded by society and reflect on how to address them using artificial intelligence technologies, and identify opportunities and research projects of mutual interest to carry them out jointly.
The AXPE Group was born in 1999 as a business consultancy and since then it has worked to stay at the forefront of technological innovation. In this time, the consultancy has managed to extend its services throughout the Spanish territory as well as expand to the national market, and in this same line of growth, at the end of 2019, the group launched a new business unit called QUANT AI Lab, in the that has grouped its technology solutions and consulting in Artificial Intelligence.
QUANT defends values such as innovation, quality, efficiency and talent and, for this, demands the help of expert talent in Artificial Intelligence. Along these lines, it has reached an agreement with the Polytechnic University of Madrid to facilitate and speed up collaboration between both entities.
This agreement will be carried out through an Artificial Intelligence Advisory Comission made up of expert professors in this field from the UPM Artificial Intelligence Department, to assess the challenges the company faces and guide how to address them.
This Advisory Committee will meet with the company´s management team once a month to discuss research and innovation issues that concern them.
The commission will be made up of four professors from the DIA. Two of these four professors will be permanent members: Josefa Zuleide Hernández Diego and Antonio Jiménez Martín, who will be responsible for monitoring the meetings, ensuring their continuity and ensuring the transmission of their content to the rest of the advisors. The other two members of the commission will rotate and will be chosen according to the scope of work to be discussed at the meeting.
The areas of work to be dealt with and initially identified by the company as “of interest” are: Artificial Intelligence, machine learning, deep learning, Big Data, linguistic engineering, natural language processing, computer vision and robotics, optical recognition character, data mining, Bayesian networks, neural networks, decision support systems, recommendation systems, early warning systems and intelligent human-machine interaction
With this advisory plan, QUANT has finished positioning itself as a benchmark in Artificial Intelligence and a standard-bearer for the avant-garde and innovation.
